BOILER CONTROL SYSTEMS
With over 70 Boiler systems supplied & installed, TFD’s boiler control systems offer an economical & reliable solution to efficiently and easily operate coal & biomass fired boiler & combustion systems and fuel handling & reticulation systems.
The control systems comprise of a contemporary Siemens S7-1200 based PLC rack, nodes & touch screen Siemens KTP HMI (Unless otherwise required), integrated into compact, customised epoxy-coated enclosures.
The control systems feature TFD’s latest combustion control technology to optimise steam production, minimise fuel consumption and enhance the reliability of the system. The control philosophy & hardware systems include various levels of additional safety features as well as compliance to all relevant BS EN, SANS & PER regulations, reducing downtime, unplanned shutdowns and enhancing the general safety and usability of the systems.
