One of our more unique projects was the PFT cleaning facility in the new Stercus building at Borchard’s Quarry wastewater treatment works.
With increased urbanisation, the growth of informal settlements poses challenges for urban planning. One of the great difficulties is sanitation. TF Design offers turn-key and easily scalable PFT cleaning solutions that can be used to augment sanitation infrastructure to accommodate both rural and urban informal settlements.
The Project was for the COCT, and was aimed at cleaning the Portable flush toilets (PTFs) that service the informal settlements in the area. The entire facility’s mechanical and electrical works were in the scope of TFD as a subcontractor to Inenzo Water.
A concept to service smaller municipalities is also proposed.
