Another new comprehensive biomass-fired boiler, fuel house, dust abatement, fuel storage and reticulation system commissioned for one of our valued clients in Humansdorp, EC.
The system was commissioned in 2023 with all engineering, manufacturing, installation, programming & commissioning scopes performed by our technical & engineering teams inhouse at TFDesign.
This system comprises of a state-of-the-art reciprocating combustion grate to optimally and efficiently combust biomass material to fire the boiler and generate process steam for the dairy plant.
Coupled to our advanced boiler & combustion control system & SCADA, The system is regulated with active oxygen control by constantly regulating the combustion process air, fuel feed rates and movement patterns of the reciprocating steps.
The TFD boiler control systems incorporate sophisticated control philosophy’s along with conformance to numerous SANS, BS EN & PER safety software & hardware regulations, giving our clients peace of mind that the solutions TFD deliver are safe, easy to operate, efficient and economical!
